This is a question I have heard asked many many times. Why should I have a website? What can a website do for me? Is it really worth all the trouble?
There are many answers for all of these questions so I will go over a few of them here. First a website provides basic information that establishes credibility – just as a listing in the Yellow Pages shows you are serious about your business, having your own company domain reinforces your legitimacy as a serious business. As of 2009, it is estimated that about 73.8 percent of American homes have Internet Access, according to Nielsen’s National TV panel. That means that about 86.8 million homes have access to the Internet (using the population estimate from the 2000 U.S. Census). Personalized Design: You can choose from three different templates to be personalized towards you. Personalization includes a custom header using a picture or set of pictuers you provide, the addition of your logo to the website, as well as custom colors of your choosing.
Custom Design: With this option you have the ability to have a totally custom design built to suit you. Our web designers will work together with you to create the page of your dreams. You will help us through every aspect of the design to make sure you extremly happy with what you have to show!
Custom Domain Name: We provide you with your own .net, .com, or .org. Without this option your web address will be "www.yourdomainname.heslinkcomputer.com"
Email: Extra E-Mail accounts can be purchased for $15.00 per year
Storage: Storage applies to the graphics and files you upload to your website. The actual textaul content you add to pages does not count as storage space for your site. So your are truly given "unlimited" pages. If you need more storage for audio or video files than what the base storage offers, please refer to our Additional Storage options listed below.
Blog: Our Blog System gives you the ability to give any registered user on your website access to start posting their own Blog. This gives you unprecidented control to create your own Group Blog for your organization. The Our Blog area gives users access to view the group and the ability to then go into individual blogs.
Pages: No need to worry about page limits and trying to work within them. You won’t have to combine disparate information because you are only allowed a certain number of pages. Add pages as you need them and let your site grow as you see fit.
Administrators: Administrators are the group of people in your organization, staff, or leadership who keep the website content current. With a user name and password they will access the administrative area of the CMS to add and edit content in any of the systems that are part of your selected package. You will likely find that the more-broadly these content-management responsibilities are shared, the more up-to-date and useful your website will become.
Site Security: Use your website as a secure Intranet for your staff and a Portal for your website visitors/members. Unlimited Additional Storage: If you need additional storage space for your website, this option will allow you to have unlimited storage capacity. You can also use this storage option to increase all of your email accounts a desired storage level to meet your needs.
Service Packages: Service Packages are available for clients who want or need assistance in adding or creating content for their website on a monthly basis. Service Packages also include priority phone access to our design and support teams. Service Packages start at $50.00 per month with a maximum 5 hours per month. Additional hours over your monthly maximum are billed at $25.00 per hour.
